Electrical safety remains one of the most important foundations of every reliable installation — and through strong industry partnerships, more communities continue to gain access to proper training and technical education.
On May 23, 2026, Phelps Dodge Philippines joined the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines in celebrating “IIEE Electrical Safety Month 2026” in Nabua. The activity gathered approximately 50 participants composed of barangay electricians, LGU representatives, and IIEE members and volunteers from Nabua and nearby municipalities.
Focused on promoting safer electrical installation practices and improving technical knowledge in the field, the event featured educational discussions, technical demonstrations, and hands-on learning sessions designed to strengthen electrical safety awareness at the community level.
As part of its support, Phelps Dodge provided training materials and product assistance to be used during the demonstrations, allowing participants to gain first-hand experience and practical insights on proper electrical applications. The initiative also gave attendees the opportunity to better understand the value of using quality electrical wires and electrical tape in achieving safer, more dependable, and standards-compliant installations.
Phelps Dodge also conducted a dedicated presentation that highlighted the key features, applications, and advantages of PD products, emphasizing how quality electrical materials contribute to long-term safety, durability, and performance in residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Beyond product discussions, the event served as a platform for collaboration between industry professionals, local electricians, and community leaders — reinforcing the importance of continuous learning and electrical safety education in today’s rapidly developing communities.
Through initiatives like the IIEE Electrical Safety Month 2026, Phelps Dodge Philippines continues to strengthen its commitment to supporting the Philippine electrical industry by promoting electrical safety, professional development, and responsible installation practices nationwide.
