Phelps Dodge Philippines donated electrical wirings to the Foundation for These-Abled Persons and SAC Legazpi as part of the FairBuilding Network’s Social Building initiative.
The wires will be used to renovate 50 housing units for PWD families in Sta Fe, Leyte, and a training resource center in Cainta, Rizal. They will also be used for a 60-unit housing project in Guinobatan, Albay, as part of the Laudato Si’ Eco-Village project, which aims to provide shelters and livelihood facilities through nature-based solutions.
Additionally, Phelps Dodge donated electrical wirings to Dualtech Training Center for the electrical and electronic workshops of trainees enrolled in the Electromechanics Technology course.
