Demonstrating its commitment to community service, Phelps Dodge participated in a meaningful outreach initiative with the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines – Davao Chapter.
In celebration of Philippine Heart Month, a medical mission, feeding program, and donation drive were conducted on February 25, 2026, at the Balay Banaag Center. The activity aimed to support children under the center’s care, providing not only essential resources but also moments of encouragement and connection. Organized in partnership with the IIEE-Davao Chapter and its community, the initiative reflects a shared goal of extending assistance to communities in need.
The outreach included the turnover of essential donations such as rice, food items, and personal supplies, along with Phelps Dodge merchandise intended to bring added encouragement to the children. A feeding program was also conducted to support their nutritional needs. Beyond material support, the activity created a meaningful space for interaction. The event was further brightened by performances from the children, fostering a warm and uplifting atmosphere throughout the day.
Through participation in initiatives like this, Phelps Dodge continues to support programs that promote compassion, collaboration, and social responsibility. In partnership with organizations and industry peers, the company remains committed to contributing to community development efforts that create a positive and lasting impact.
