HR INTERN

The HR Intern will provide support for Recruiting & Selection processes and HR generalist duties. He/She will be an active member of the team and will be responsible for a variety of tasks and projects.

JOB SUMMARY/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/OTHER INFORMATION:

  • Assist with recruitment activities; interviewing applicants, test administration, and interpretation of the results of exam and job fair.
  • Assist with managing employee accountabilities and 201 files.
  • Assist on New Employee Orientation (NEO) in preparing materials.
  • Assist in doing medical, dental and load reimbursement.
  • Assist on training registration and confirmation to various training agency.
  • Filing and other administrative tasks may be assigned by HR Generalist.

 

MARKET RESEARCH ASSISTANT

JOB SUMMARY/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/OTHER INFORMATION:

  • Assist in the drafting of reports such as Customer development, Competitors analysis, Latest development report and Importation reports and Finished Goods.
  • Assist in the conduct of regular market and price surveys and drafting of analysis report
  • Updating of list of hardware stores and making a project list to serve as leads to salesmen (BCI Asia, BOI, HLURB, Others)
  • Updating the competitors profile and customer pareto profiles.
  • Encoding sales data on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Monitoring sales performance daily, weekly, and monthly versus budget and forecast. This includes list of committed projects versus projects won and projects lost.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Statistics, Economics or equivalent.
  • With good scholastic record from a reputable University/College.
  • Experience in the same capacity is an advantage but not required.
  • With excellent communication and math skills.
  • Two (2) full-time positions available.

 

SALES ENGINEER

JOB SUMMARY/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/OTHER INFORMATI

  • Promotes and sells Phelps Dodge products to customers in the assigned area. Meets his target sales quota within the prescribed MI.
  • Meets and discusses with immediate superior status of on-going transaction and collection problems.
  • Coordinates orders of the customers with the plant and Logistics and monitors that these orders are delivered on time.
  • Prepares and submits monthly sales and collection forecasts.
  • Prepares the budget and strategies to achieve said budget
  • Collects from clients’ accounts due according to approved and agreed terms.
  • Conducts sales presentations as needed.

 Qualifications

  • Candidate must be a graduate of any Engineering course from a reputable College/University. An Electrical Engineering graduate is an advantage.
  • Related sales experience is a definitive advantage.
  • Has experience in business to business selling is a plus.
  • With excellent communication and Math skills.
  • One (1) full time position available.

 

PRODUCT AND CABLE DESIGN ENGINEER

JOB SUMMARY/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/OTHER INFORMATION:

  • Identify new practices/methods that could be implemented or utilized by the company.
  • Create documentation of parts, devices, processes, procedures which enable the quality production of the company’s products.
  • Conduct studies and researches for new practices.
  • Evaluate and provide substantial researches for new practices/methods.
  • Development and experimental investigation on potential products.
  • Participate in the selection and implementation of new materials, methods and processes for the enhancement of existing products.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must be graduate of Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering or Management Engineering in any reputable University.
  • With experience in doing research and feasibility studies is a definitive advantage.
  • Must be critical thinker and highly analytical.
  • Has above average knowledge on finance concepts.
  • Dynamic and can easily adapt to changing work requirements.
  • Two (2) full time positions available.

 

SALES ASSISTANT

JOB SUMMARY/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/OTHER INFORMATION:

  • Responsible for clerical and administrative support to the Sales group.
  • Perform administrative functions such as Filing of files and SOs, proper upkeep of records and ensure that files of the Sales segment assigned to is updated and complete.
  • Make reports, letters, and quotations when directed.
  • Assist in the monitoring and follow-up of Sales orders, Deliveries and Collections.
  • Book sales thru MAS 500 for the Sales segment assigned to, includes preparation of other documents as needed (e.g. override forms, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, Economics, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • With excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Proficient in MS applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • One (1) full time position available.

 

SALES SPECIALIST-GMA

This position is responsible for promoting and pushing Phelps Dodge wires and cables within the assigned area in coordination with distributors/dealers. Ensures that distributors/dealers meet the quota within the prescribed MI and collects same according to approved terms.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in any field or business-related course
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and oral
  • Knowledgeable in MS Applications
  • Experience in different Sales functions would be an advantage
  • Analytical with a business mind set
  • Organized and excellent in time management
  • Entry Level Position
  • One (1) full-time position available.

 

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

This position is primarily responsible for setting and pursuing practical strategies in the development of existing products, researching/testing new products and technologies and their applications, formulating manufacturing specifications and conducting market researches to define the feasibility of the cable product being developed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A graduate of Materials and Science Engineering or any courses related to the position.
  • With good scholastic record from a reputable university
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications (particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint)
  • With experience in doing research and feasibility studies, a definite advantage
  • With excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Must possess outstanding leadership skills and potential
  • One (1) full-time position available.
