From April 24 to 26, 2025, Phelps Dodge Philippines took part in the 24th Western Visayas Regional Convention of the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines (IIEE) – Region VI, held at MVW Hotel and Restaurant in Roxas City. Organized by the IIEE Capiz Chapter, the event gathered professionals and stakeholders from across the electrical engineering industry, including students, educators, government and private sector practitioners, and representatives from commercial and industrial sectors.
Carrying the national theme “IIEE: Celebrating 50 Years of Integrity, Innovation, Empowerment, and Excellence,” the three-day event featured a comprehensive lineup of technical seminars, product demonstrations, forums, competitions, and networking activities. It provided a valuable platform for sharing knowledge, exploring industry trends, and highlighting the continued growth and transformation of the profession.
Phelps Dodge Philippines participated as one of the major exhibitors, showcasing its latest innovations in electrical wires, cables, and integrated power solutions at Booth 6 in Melissa Hall. Visitors—including students, Registered Electrical Engineers (REEs), and Registered Master Electricians (RMEs)—engaged directly with the Phelps Dodge team to learn more about the company’s commitment to delivering safe, high-performance, and future-ready solutions.
