Company Nurse - Tarlac

Role

This multifaceted role combines nursing care provision with administrative support within the HR & Administration department. The Company Nurse primarily delivers medical assistance to employees and their dependents while actively contributing to the company's health and safety initiatives. Additionally, the position provides essential support in various administrative functions to ensure the smooth operation of office activities.

Duties & Responsibilities

Medical Care Provision:

  • Provides timely nursing care and first aid to employees and dependents.
  • Assists the Company Doctor Consultant in delivering medical care to employees and dependents.
  • Manages clinic operations, including maintaining adequate stock of medicines and medical supplies, ensuring clinic cleanliness, and organizing medical files and records.
  • Coordinates employee health programs and benefits, such as annual physical examinations (APE) and medical referrals.
  • Conducts home visitations upon request and issues cease and return to work slips.
  • Conducts employee orientations regarding health and safety protocols.

Administrative Support:

  • Assists in implementing workplace safety policies and procedures, contributing to emergency preparedness and response efforts.
  • Supports sustainability reporting initiatives and environmental management activities.
  • Manages logistics related to employee transportation, accommodations, and communication services, including coordination with service providers.
  • Handles administrative tasks such as organizing meetings, managing office supplies, and processing paperwork as needed.
  • Collaborates with the HR & Administrative Services Manager on various projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee well-being and organizational effectiveness.
  • Performs other administrative duties assigned by superiors, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving departmental needs.

Job Requirements

  • A graduate of BS Nursing or its equivalent from a reputable college/university
  • A registered Nurse and a Nursing board passer.
  • Have relevant experience as a Nurse in a hospital, clinic or any establishment for at least 1 year.
  • Trained in OSH standards and clinic management
  • Can express himself/ herself well using business language clearly, both written and verbal.
