Electrical Maintenance Technician

Role

Responsible for performing routine mechanical or electrical maintenance tasks, including basic troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance to support day-to-day plant operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Maintenance and Repair:
    • Receive and respond immediately to job requests, recording actions in the EFS logbook.
    • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in production machinery and plant equipment promptly upon receipt of job requests.
  1. Preventive Maintenance: Conduct preventive maintenance on all production machinery and plant equipment according to the approved maintenance program.
  2. Inspection and Monitoring: Perform routine inspections of all production machinery and equipment, documenting results and reporting any abnormalities to the EFS Team Leader or Plant Engineering Manager.
  3. Fabrication and Mechanical Support: Perform minor fabrication, welding, and other mechanical tasks as requested to support production needs.
  4. Operational Support: Assist in the regular replacement of machine parts and may operate a forklift for moving or stockpiling machine parts/spare parts as necessary.
  5. Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and policies at all times.
  6. General Support: Perform additional duties as assigned by Team Leaders, Maintenance Scheduler, Planner, or Plant Engineering Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of a Technical Course or any 3-year vocational course in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a related industry.
