Electrical Maintenance Technician

Role

Responsible for performing routine mechanical or electrical maintenance tasks, including basic troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance to support day-to-day plant operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

Maintenance and Repair:

Receive and respond immediately to job requests, recording actions in the EFS logbook.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in production machinery and plant equipment promptly upon receipt of job requests.

Preventive Maintenance: Conduct preventive maintenance on all production machinery and plant equipment according to the approved maintenance program.

Inspection and Monitoring: Perform routine inspections of all production machinery and equipment, documenting results and reporting any abnormalities to the EFS Team Leader or Plant Engineering Manager.

Fabrication and Mechanical Support: Perform minor fabrication, welding, and other mechanical tasks as requested to support production needs.

Operational Support: Assist in the regular replacement of machine parts and may operate a forklift for moving or stockpiling machine parts/spare parts as necessary.

Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and policies at all times.

General Support: Perform additional duties as assigned by Team Leaders, Maintenance Scheduler, Planner, or Plant Engineering Manager.

Job Requirements

Graduate of a Technical Course or any 3-year vocational course in electrical engineering or a related field.

At least 1 to 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a related industry.
