Role

The IT Specialist is responsible for the technical development, implementation, and support of IT software and hardware components to optimize business processes. The role demands a hands-on approach to maintain system integrity, reliability, and ensure streamlined business operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

SOFTWARE MANAGEMENT

Develop and implement software solutions that align with business objectives to improve operational efficiency.

Administer and maintain business systems, prioritizing security and system reliability.

Create and manage database reports to inform operations and strategic decision-making.

Provide training to users on software applications, ensuring optimal usage and understanding.

Keep software across workstations current with updates and patches, and manage software licenses.

Offer comprehensive support for software, hardware, or network issues, enhancing user productivity.

HARDWARE MANAGEMENT

Conduct regular hardware and software audits for effective IT asset management.

Ensure IT support for hardware and software is consistently reliable and systems are protected against viruses.

Maintain up-to-date antivirus definitions on all workstations, safeguarding against threats.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Management, Computer Science, Information Technology; or any related program.

Proficient in systems analysis, systems development and database programming using VB.Net, ASP .NET, C#, SQL Server, and Crystal Reports
