Electronic Technician (Wire Manufacturing Machines/PCB)

Role

Responsible for repairing and reconditioning electronic boards (PCBs), setting up electronic systems and devices, and estimating costs for PCB repairs. Will test system functionality, analyze data, and utilize various tools for building and repairing PCBs. Will address circuitry malfunctions, interpret complex manuals and diagrams, and collaborate with engineers on technical tasks. Additionally, assembling and connecting electronic components, monitoring project progress, and maintaining inventory reports will be key aspects of the role.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Repair and recondition electronic boards (PCBs).
  • Set up and calibrate electronic systems and devices.
  • Estimate damage and calculate repair costs for PCBs.
  • Test system functionality and analyze data.
  • Utilize tools for building and repairing PCBs.
  • Troubleshoot and repair circuitry malfunctions.
  • Read and comprehend technical manuals and diagrams.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other professionals.
  • Assemble and connect electronic components.
  • Monitor project progress and maintain inventory reports.

Job Requirements

  • Technical graduate from an accredited electronic college.
  • Should be an electronic enthusiast.
  • Knowledge of circuits, electronics, and control systems, and ability to read schematic diagrams.
  • Ability to identify, repair, and replace faulty electronic components on circuit boards using basic testing equipment (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope).
  • Hands-on experience with electronic testing and circuitry.
  • Familiarity with a variety of tools and equipment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and diagnostic software.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Associate degree and/or completion of an apprenticeship program.
