In 2008, Phelps Dodge scored another first when it introduced Alumilite™, PD’s 8000 series aluminum building wire THHN/THWN-2, 600V 90°C Dry or Wet, PVC Insulated, Polyamide (with Flexiglide™ slippery nylon) Jacketed. This was patented under number 2-2012-0002.
