Internal Control & Tax Compliance Staff

Role

Assist the Accounting Team Leader and Finance Manager in strengthening internal control by drafting reports, conducting analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures. Also responsible for timely filing of all local statutory reports.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Submit accurate Internal Control Audit Findings/Report
  • Achieve 100% compliance with local statutory deadlines (BIR, SEC & PEZA)
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly reconciliations of VAT and withholding tax returns to ensure alignment with GL/book balances
  • Verify employees' expense liquidation and ensure all supporting documents are complete.
  • Thoroughly check all DRs, invoices, and Accounts Payable Vouchers for proper validation, revenue recognition, and resolution of pending invoices. Ensure completeness and compliance.
  • Responsible for consistent implementation, compliance, and testing of internal control measures.
  • Coordinate and assist Financial Auditors during their examination of company books.
  • Strictly follow safety procedures and policies at all times.

Job Requirements

  • Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy
  • At least One year of significant experience.
